Learning On The Job...After 10 Years!
Donovan McNabb is in his 10th year as a quarterback in the National Football League. Until yesterday, he did not know that a regular season game could end in a tie. He learned it the hard way, as the Eagles and Bengals played to a 13-13 tie. In this video clip, he mentions his lack of knowledge of regular season overtime.
Unbelievable!

How do you not know there's a tie possibility? I didn't know it, but I don't get paid millions of dollars to play that game! It sounds like they would have done some things differently if they had known!
I guess it's possible to not even think about the possibility of a tie, since the NFL is the only level of football left where there a tie is an option.
Earth to NFL players: If you play an entire overtime in the regular season, and no one scores, the game is over. It ends in a tie. In the playoffs, however, they keep playing until someone scores.
