Bizarreness

The Dallas Cowboys remain undefeated, in the most unlikely of ways.

The Cowboys went to Buffalo and snatched a 25-24 win. How did it happen?

Tony Romo threw five interceptions and lost a fumble for the Cowboys. The Bills ran two interceptions back for touchdowns, and also scored a touchdown on a kickoff return.

At the end of the game, Romo led the Cowboys on an 80-yard drive for a touchdown. The Cowboys scored with 20 seconds left, and missed a tying two-point conversion. The Cowboys then improbably recovered an onside kick. Romo led the Cowboys down the field to set up a long game winning field goal. Nick Folk kicked a 53 yard field goal to win the game. But wait! The Bills called timeout right before the snap, forcing the rookie kicker to think about what he was doing. What does Folk do? On the rekick, he kicks a 53 yard field goal to win the game.

There was a little bit of fortune involved in this game, and a whole lot of skill. The Cowboys went out there and stole a game they deserved to lose.

It would really suck to be a Buffalo fan. All of the ghosts of Buffalo teams past came back to haunt them. All of western New York has to be totally sick right now.

I was sad for the Buffalo fans. In the end Buffalo didn't deserve to win either, though.

What was up with their helmets? Was that a turn back the clock thing?

Yeah, a team doesn't deserve to win by scoring only 3 offensive points. Tony Romo giveth, Tony Romo taketh away.

The Bills wore throwback unis last night. They wore those unis in the AFL, and in their first couple of years in the NFL. In my opinion, the throwbacks look better than the trash they normally wear.

I did like the full buffalo look on the helmet. I think they should stick with it.

I like the little red buffalo, too. I think they should have never done away with it.

The Hardline talked about the buffalo today. They made fun of it just standing there. Then they had a bunch of drops of Greggo talking about buffalo parts.
