Homer Call of the Day

This is from the world of Division III. Trinity University of San Antonio traveled to Jackson, MS to take on the Millsaps Majors. Trinity used an improbable series of laterals to score a long touchdown to snatch a victory on the last play of the game. The play looked like a combination of rugby and "Kill the Man With The Football". Meanwhile, the announcers nearly had a heart attack in the booth.

"One of the most miraculous plays in all of college football!" LOL!

I think I saw this play once when I was watching a pop-warner game. That announcer was so over the top ... he'll definitely make it on BaDD Radio this week!

We never played "Kill the Man with the Football", but we did play smear the queer. I'm guessing it's the same?

Kill the Man is exactly the same as Smear the Queer. One person carries the football as long as he can without getting tackled by the other 10 or 20 people in the game. No rules, other than survival.

I like the color man on the call of this play. "No way!" "Go! Go! Go!"
