We are a month away from the NCAA tournament, and a lot of things can still happen, and probably will. These pairings are always in flux, and seeds will fluctuate drastically for some teams. At this point, I have nine teams from the Big East, and seven teams from the ACC projected to be in the field of 65. I don't expect that form to hold.

last year only 8 made it from big east, and 9 were deserving
expect only 8 to make it again this year
There's a lot of basketball left to be played.
Plus, I tend to place too much emphasis on the polls and the RPI. The selection committee uses those tools, as well, but they're more likely to reach for someone around #70 in the RPI if they see them as deserving.
Bracket projections are always a work in progress.
